Gas Prices and Greed – The Freeman – Ideas On Liberty: If greed explains rising prices, perhaps then falling prices are due to a sudden attack of altruism on the part of station owners and oil companies. Could it be that they have all had a change of heart and suddenly turned magnanimous and philanthropic? Perhaps they all saw a psychologist or a preacher and suddenly realized the error of their ways.
